You can take the girl out of Tottenham...

Yesterday me and the fam bam had a little road trip up to Oxford to pick my sister up (she goes to the uni there, the little smarty pants). So me being the sort of creative vain girl that I am, I decided to do a mini photoshoot of what I wore today...plus a little bit of scenery. So think of this post as What I Wore Today part drei.

So in short I'm wearing...

  • My favourite Orlando Magic Basketball Sweatshirt in XL (I think). It was bought from the Adidas Outlet Store in Orlando for $20...one of my favourite places on earth.
  • Ripped skinny jeans from American Eagle in Florida. The holes started of really small. However me being the drama queen that I am, I ripped them beyond belief.
  • Red Vans from Office.
  • Fishtail earrings from Topshop.
I guess this was the 'I'm a tomboy slob meets I can't leave the house without make-up and jewellery' kind of look'.

I'm not wearing foundation so excuse the state of my skin lol. But my make-up look is pretty much the same as always. Eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, blusher and of course my favourite red lipstick. I tried something different with my hair (a middle parting). I honestly always thought my forehead was too big for one. But just maybe I can pull it off.

My sister thinks that the last two look like I'm trapped in an S&M dungeon. #Oh

Thanks for reading lovelies!

POParazzi Earrings.

No I haven't made a typo in the title. And yes my ghetto girl tastes are about to be truly revealed in this post. How? Because I'm about to reveal my absolute lust for the biggest and tackiest of earrings.

To be honest I'll never really leave the house without a pair of large earrings (unless I'm wearing a statement necklace). However, by watching some black American reality TV shows my fetish for them has increase tenfold.

It all began during an episode of Basketball Wives. The first thing I noticed about Evelyn Lodaza were her earrings.

She was rarely ever seen without a pair of huge hoops embellished with crystals in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes.

The more shows I watched, the more people I saw them on, like Emily from Love & Hip Hop.

Not really a great facial expression but its all I could find. Sorry.

I've never seen them in a shop in the UK, or even in any shop when I was in Florida. So like any other 21st century girl does, I asked my trusted friend. Mr Google (how I love him). So after a couple of searches I found out that they are a particular brand called POParazzi earrings and they are sold HERE

I honestly love these in all their unadulterated tacky glory.

I wanted to get some from the official website but who has roughly £42 to spend on a pair of earrings? If you do then I suggest you also have a look at this online store: http://celebboutique.com/accessories-en-2-3/jewellery-en-2.html

Celebboutique offers something a bit different as they've added spikes to some of their earrings which are very on trend for the moment. Seriously, if my Christmas present hadn't already been bought I'd be asking for a pair of these.

I know you're all seriously judging me at the moment...

For the girl who is still paying off her overdraft (like me) I suggest you have a look on Amazon. I found these and the price agrees with my teaching assistant paypacket lol

They're less than half price at £17.99...so maybe I'll get two pairs?

To be honest, I don't know if my chubby face can carry this off. Maybe I'll wait until I get my weave back. All I know is that I'll own these...by hook or by crook.

Thanks for coming on this journey of ghetto accessorising with me. Its been a pleasure :)
