I Poisoned Cupid: What I Wore Today: 2nd Oxford Edition

So since my little sister goes to Oxford University, I'm up there quite often and end up taking a whole load of pictures of myself (because I'm vain) and the scenery (because its beautiful). So today was no different and I must say I'm quite proud of my iPhone camera. Its done a whole lot better than my digital camera ever has.

So first I'll show you what I wore today:

This is definitely one of those days when I didn't plan an outfit. I threw a lot of things on and hoped for the best. I kind of hope it works and of course I'm hoping you do too.

So I'm wearing:

A blue bandanna from Paks Cosmetics - 99p. One of my students things I wear this bandanna because of some sort of gang affiliation. It makes me laugh every time.
Huge white hoops from Forever 21 - $1.50
Topshop Faux Leather Jacket - £58. Yes, I realise that I'm wearing this jacket in almost every post. But I seriously couldn't live without it.
Denim shirt from New Look. I bought it a while ago so I can't remember how much it was. Its a long shirt which I tied up to give a cropped effect.
Feather maxi skirt from River Island - £39.99. I was in love with this skirt for months and it seems so was everyone else...because I literally had to wait a month for it to come back into stock. I love that its high waisted and the feather print. However one thing that I completely despise about this skirt is that its completely sheer (even though there's a built in slip underneath). I don't like to make a habit of wearing transparent skirts, so its always a hassle in the mornings to find something which isn't bulky to wear underneath. If you look close at the last picture, you can see that I'm wearing a stripy pencil skirt beneath the maxi skirt lol.
Metallic Quilted Bag from Zara - I got this as a present from an ex way back in 2008. When we broke up I gave everything back to him except this bag. It's my baby lol.
Red Vans from Office - £39.99. I wear these nearly every day and I'm starting to get a bit sick of them to be honest.

My make-up look:

Products used:

Clinique Superbalanced foundation in Toffee. It really is a godsend. However...I definitely feel that I'm becoming way too dependent on it
Sleek dark brown eyebrow pencil. I've switched to using dark brown instead of black and its one of the best decisions I've ever made (make-up wise). Its less harsh but is still dark enough to be seen.
Beauty UK liquid eyeliner.
CoverGirl Blusher in a medium pink.
MAC lipstick in 'Girl About Town'

Now for a bit of scenery, which is definitely better than looking at my ugly mug lol
