Paperclip Presents...

Ok so don't think I'm weird for this title but...

A couple of weeks ago at work I was running an arts and craft club (knee deep in green glitter and PVA glue) and one of my students decided to make me this:

I was pretty chuffed :) and wow my skin looks orange.

I literally turned around for one second and when I swivelled back around there appeared a necklace made from...paperclips. I'm pretty glad my office uses these colourful plastic ones, because I'm sure the metal ones would be a certain health hazard -_-

So pretty impressed I asked him how he made it (although you can probably guess). But for those who are a bit slow like me I'll explain anyway lol

You basically start with two paperclips of different colours...

After this you just find an opening and link them together like so...

Then you basically keep going. If you want a chain my length then use around 18 paperclips. Obviously you can go shorter or longer to create your stationary themed masterpiece.

And I didn't just wear it to boost my students ego, I actually wore it around LDN and got quite a few compliments :)

This just gives you a little taster of what else you can do with it. E.g. bracelets lol. Also feel free to experiment with different coloured paperclips, mixing the coloured ones with metal ones and even using the larger sized ones.

Jade's Xmas Wishlist.

Yes I know Christmas is not all about giving presents. But since everyone is going to give them out anyway, I may as well tell you readers what's on my wishlist. I'm sure if you all club together you'll be able to buy me a couple of items LOL.

So here goes:

• The coat is from Asos and is £95. Its like half Trench half coat and I.Must.Own.Like.Now. (Even though its December and not really cold at all.
• I don't really need to say anything about the Nike Blazers. They retail at around £64.99. I know EVERYONE'S wearing them at the moment...but with good reason. They'll look really good with the...
• River Island highwaisted skinny jeans for £42. I love River Island jeans because they fit over my fat thighs and  the highwaisted ones really do suck you in. Jealously towards all the skinny biatches who don't have to worry about such things.
• The Jeffrey Campbell Lita's are a show orgasm. I've like Lita's for a while...especially since Akilah did a blog post on them. And these ones blew me away. Plus they are also quite fitting for an American Studies graduate lol
• The last thing on my wishlist is the actual thing I'm getting for Xmas...a Michael Kors watch. Its £239 and to be honest I know I should have bought it while I was in America (would have been much cheaper) BUT I've only just caught on to them now. Its Rose Gold plated and its my idea of watch heaven.

New Stores Hitting The High Street!

Literally every year there's a brand new store that hits the high street, whether its a new store from the UK opening in a different location i.e. New Look Opened in Oxford Circus last year, or a new store opening from a completely different country, e.g. Forever21!

Now this store is originated from America and has now got stores all over the world and they cater to women, girls, men, and plus sizes. so everyone\s a winner! :/

At first I thought do we really need another women's wear store??? But little did I know, they sell some really cool things! I would defo recommend it to all you girls, and their accessories are really funky and not too expensive! Defo go and have a visit in the new store that's just opened in Oxford Street.

I'd like to share with you guys what a special friend of mine bought for me for my birthday :)

Actually CAN NOT wait till it gets a bit chilly cause I'm throwing this baby on me!

Wore this one today! :D its not as thick so i was cool in it :)

Absolutely loving the designs on this one! literally can not wait till its cold so I can layer up again!! ( bought this one in a medium, although they do come up baggy anyway, but I wanted it extra baggy )

When I get a chance to I will update this post with pictures of how I wore these to giver you guys an idea of how to do it yourself :)
